FR. PETER ROGERS IS BEING TRANSFERRED: "I have been elected by my Dominican brothers to be Prior at St. Dominic Church in Eagle Rock (a district of Los Angeles) and will move there in mid June, 2010. I am very sad to announce this, and sad to leave the Newman Center. However, I am sure that I will come to love the people at St. Dominic's as I have come to love you here at the Newman Center. My assignment here at the Newman Center has been very rewarding, challenging, and exciting. I will miss you all very much!"

Lenten Penance Service: Come on Tuesday, March 9, at 6:00 pm for a pot luck dinner, a short reconciliation service at 7:00, confession at 7:10, Mass at 7:35, and then end with dessert after Mass.

WHO WE ARE: The community of St. Catherine's Newman Center seeks to promote Catholic campus ministry at the University of Utah in a loving and tolerant manner in order to develop Christian unity through service, social, justice, community building, spirituality, education, and evangelization.
